Frequently asked questions
How do I book a session?
Just get in touch via email, phone, or the contact form to tell me a bit about what you need and your availability. I’ll provide a quote and arrange a quick chat to plan your shoot. The session fee is paid upfront to secure your date. For an idea of prices click here.
When should I book a maternity shoot?
I recommend booking for when you are between 32 - 37 weeks so that we can really show that bump off and before you get too close to your due date.
Where do your photoshoots take place?
• Family photography: usually in your home or outdoors somewhere meaningful to you.
• Headshots & personal branding: at my home studio, your workplace, or a location that reflects your brand.
I mainly work in Walthamstow/East London, but I’m happy to travel (travel charges may apply for longer distances).
What happens if I’m running late?
If I don’t have anything booked straight after your session then I will always try to accommodate. I want to give your session the time it deserves so sometimes I will suggest rescheduling.
What happens if me or a family member is unwell?
If you or your little one are feeling under the weather - we can reschedule to a time when everyone's feeling better.
What should I wear?
The most important thing in any photoshoot is that you feel comfortable and relaxed in whatever you are wearing. Check out these PINTEREST tips! More in-depth style advice is available for headshot or personal branding photography or for some tips check out this blog.
How soon will I get my photos?
Depending on the type of session and number of images required I aim to get the final images delivered between 5-7 days after a session.
What do you do during the editing process?
After the shoot, I go through and individually edit each photo. This involves cropping images and colour correcting. Minimal retouching after delivery of the final images is available at an hourly rate.
How many photos will I get from a shoot?
This depends on how many you would like and which download package you have chosen. I aim to capture a variety of beautiful images which tell your story. A selection of final edited images are then selected and added to an online gallery ready for you to choose from. You only pay for the session fee upfront and nothing else until your photos are ready.
Can I post my photos on social media?
Absolutely yes! It always makes me happy to see photos I’ve taken shared on social media. I ask that I am credited if my photos are used for professional/print publication.
I love my photos can I leave you a glowing review?!
Thank you - and yes! My small business thrives on reviews left by kind people like you and this can be done on Facebook and Google Business
